Danforth Animal Hospital began in 1981 as the "Downtown Animal Clinic," in a little red brick building at the
corner of 3rd and Broadway in Edmond. The staff consisted of Dr. Ron Laughlin and his wife Nancy. By 1986 the practice had
outgrown that small building and was moved to the current location at the corner of Danforth and Chowning. To better meet the
needs of our clients and their pets, the new building was designed and constructed specifically as a veterinary hospital. It
received a National Merit Award from the Veterinary Economics Magazine hospital design competition in 1987. Dr. Brian Hall
joined the practice in 1991 followed by Dr. Donna Woods in 1997. During that period of time the staff has grown from two
employees to fifteen
Our team philosophy is simple. We endeavor to treat every client the way we would like to be treated and to treat every pet
as if it were our own.
Our mission is to strive for excellence in veterinary care. This involves a commitment to providing ethical, high quality,
and compassionate medical and surgical services. We are devoted to fostering the human/animal bond. We are dedicated to
excellence in client service by being present for our clients and providing care in an efficient manner. We aspire to be
leaders and innovators in our approach to veterinary care. This includes providing a stimulating, challenging, and
well-equipped work environment. We also encourage our staff to find fun in their workday while excelling as the professionals
that they are. |
