Hi, my name is Jackie Plog.  I joined Danforth Animal Hospital in May 2014.  I have worked as a veterinary assistant since 2001.  I enjoy working with animals everyday because being able to help them puts a big smile on my face! When not working I enjoy spending my time outdoors with my husband Chris, and our four-legged pit bull kid, Boomer.

Kristy, Receptionist & Veterinary Assistant

I joined Danforth Animal Hospital in September of 2014.  I started working with Animals in 2009 and have enjoyed it ever since.  When I'm not working with animals I enjoy spending time with my husband, playing video games, working on crafts, or working outside with my plants.  We share our home with our two children, Kaylee and Brendan, and our four furry kids, the Alaskan Malamutes, Avalanche and Keesha , and the Huskies, Suka and Sasha Bear.

Jane, Kennel Technician

I'm a transgender woman born, raised, and currently living in Edmond.  I graduated Edmond North High School in 2005, joined Danforth Animal team in 2006 as a kennel technician, and received a Bachelor's in English Education from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2009.  When I'm not at work I spend most of my time writing, be it for personal reasons such as daily journaling to more professional work for special interest magazines and media networks.

Kaden, Kennel Technician

I am from Stillwater, Oklahoma and attend the University of Central Oklahoma. I am majoring in criminal justice-police and plan to get a minor in military science. I am actively involved in Army ROTC at UCO. I have worked at Danforth Animal Hospital since April 2016, as a kennel technician.

Bailey, Kennel Technician

I started working at Danforth in April of 2017 as a kennel technician. This is my first time working at an animal hospital and I have learned that I enjoy working with all types of animals. It is very rewarding to help them get better when they are sick. I love the animals here at Danforth like they are my own.

Montana, RVT (Registered Veterinary Technician)

I graduated form Southeastern Oklahoma State College with a bachelor’s Degree in Applied Science. I then Attended Murray State College and graduated in 2012 with an associate degree in Applied Science. I took my State and National Boards and was licensed as a Registered Veterinarian Technician in August of 2012. I recently moved to Oklahoma City with my husband Brandon. We were married in February of 2014 in Durant, Oklahoma. We have one cat, Archy, who is “Master and Ruler” of our household. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, quilting, knitting, painting, and being outside.

I was born in Oklahoma City and raised in Edmond. I am the middle sibling with an older brother and younger sister. I graduated from OSU-OKC in December of 2009 with an associate in Veterinary Technology. From there I passed my state boards to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. I married my husband, James, in October of 2009. We share our home with our six children. We have three dogs: our Great Dane, Dougy; our little Shih Tzu, Allie; and our lab, Red. We also have three cats: Hailey, Puck, and Scrappy.

I have always had a passion for animals and cannot imagine doing anything else with my life.

In my spare time I enjoy hanging out with my friends and doing things outside like fishing, camping, horseback riding, and etc.

  Jessica, Receptionist

I was born and raised in Moore, Oklahoma.  I have been working at Danforth as a receptionist since November 2014.  I have two older brothers and two older sisters.  The majority of my childhood, a total of 15 years, was spent in a dance studio where I did tap, jazz, ballet, and pointe.  I have 3 dogs:  Saydee, the miniature Schnauzer; London, the Australian Cattle Dog; and Maximus the English Mastiff.  I also have a very cranky, yet lovable dilute tortoise shell Persian named Packer.

Amanda, Receptionist

After growing up around the clinic watching my mom, Laveda, groom for several years, I joined the staff at Danforth Animal Hospital in June of 2016. I grew up in Bethany, Oklahoma and I am about to graduate with my Bachelors of Science in Biology from UCO. I have always had a passion for studying science with parasitology being my favorite field. In my spare time I enjoy volunteering at The Children’s Center. I have two fur babies: Wags and Winston.

Stephanie, Receptionist

My name is Stephanie Corey and I am the newest receptionist here at Danforth Animal Hospital. I came to the great state of Oklahoma 7 years ago after being raised just outside of Boston, MA. While I was in MA I was an animal care provider and practice manager of a small animal practice for 20 years. I spent many years in Pug rescue and owned a dog boarding business. I’m proud to call Danforth Animal Hospital as my new “work” home because it gives me that personal, family oriented type of practice that believes that the family/animal bond and customer service are paramount in providing excellent care for animals. When I’m not caring for my fur babies, that include 2 dogs, a rabbit and a guinea pig, I am a proud wife and mother of 5 children and 1 granddaughter, ranging from 6 months-20 yrs. I enjoy giving back to Oklahoma residents by being a committee member of 2 local children’s charities and I look forward to caring for your beloved furry family members for a long time to come.

Calamity, Receptionist

I'm Calamity; yes you guessed it correctly, Calamity Jane. I was born and raised in the beautiful Grand Canyon State of Arizona where I began my career in the veterinary medicine field in 2005. In 2009 I left the animal world to join the corporate world of banking. After five years of the hustle and bustle I realized my heart belonged working with animals. Before moving to Oklahoma in 2017, I was able to work part time with a small animal clinic and spent the rest of my time living on a cattle and horse ranch in Southern Arizona. When I am not working, you can usually catch me hanging out with my six dogs (ranging from labs to cattle dogs, and even yorkies), riding one of my four horses, collecting chicken eggs or doing something outside to pass the time.

 Kassy, Groomer

My name is Kassy and I first started at Danforth Animal as a kennel technician. I moved to Crescent, OK and worked at a mixed animal veterinary practice for a year before learning to groom. I started grooming in 2008 and have held the role of a salon manager for three years. I am now delighted to be the new groomer here at Danforth Animal Hospital! I love what I do and look forward to pampering your pets!
