Rebecca Thompson, MBAReceptionist
Hi! My name is Becky Thompson, and I am blessed to be a member of the Danforth Animal Hospital family!
Although I was born in New Orleans, I've lived in Oklahoma most of my life - long enough to be considered a true Okie! In the year 2000, I completed my MBA with Honors after earning a BBA in MIS at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond. As of 2018, I continue to teach an online Personal Computer Productivity class as an Adjunct Professor for the university.
After working in the corporate technology industry for several years, I realized veterinariary medicine was my true calling. Compassion for animals became an irresistible draw, driving me to seek out a new career years ago. Animals and their people have always been my true passion, and I love working with them. Over the years, I've been lucky enough to share my life with a number of dogs and cats that will forever remain in my heart.
In my personal life, I have an attentive husband, a gorgeous stepdaughter, a wonderful young son, and two beautiful Boston Terriers - Happy and Roo. In our free time, we enjoy snow skiing, boating, and traveling to experience new and exciting cultures.

JaneKennel Technician
I was born and raised Edmond, and go by she / her pronouns. I graduated Edmond North High School in 2005, joined the Danforth Animal team in 2006 as a kennel technician, and received a Bachelor's in English Education from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2009. In addition to working at Danforth, I've served as Director of Communications for Edmond Pride since November of 2017, and have been on an event planning committee for the non-profit Free Mom Hugs since August 2018. I am also an occasional guest lecturer at The Diversity Center of Oklahoma where I assist the local transgender community with necessary legal services such as name changes and obtaining updated identification, and have spoken on several panels about transgender rights at the University of Central Oklahoma. In the past I've also written for a political commentary blog, worked on a social media project for a large online news network, and assisted in managing a non-profit that promoted size acceptance. Outside of my volunteer work, I also enjoy cooking, traveling, musicals, and writing in my journal.

Mary ChristensenGroomer
I have been professionally grooming dogs for 11 years. I started out showing my Salukis in the AKC Junior Showmanship program. After juniors I moved to the confirmation ring. I have also shown other breeds for friends.
I first learned the art of grooming while showing dogs almost every weekend. I sharpened my skill while working in all breed grooming shops. I love what I do and enjoying helping pets look their best. I am looking forward to meeting you and your pets.
