Staff

I joined the staff at Danforth Animal Hospital in April of 1998 where I work as a veterinary assistant and receptionist. I really enjoy the challenges of working with our patients. There is always something new everyday.

Coming from a military family, I have lived in different states and in Germany. My husband Josh and I married in 1997. When I am not busy at home, I enjoy running and spending time with my family.

I joined Danforth Animal Hospital in September of 2014.  I started working with Animals in 2009 and have enjoyed it ever since.  When I'm not working with animals I enjoy spending time with my husband, playing video games, working on crafts, or working outside with my plants.  We share our home with our two children, Kaylee and Brendan, and our four furry kids, the Alaskan Malamutes, Avalanche and Keesha , and the Huskies, Suka and Sasha Bear.

Hey everyone, I’m Katie! I am 24 years old and was born and raised in Edmond! I graduated from Edmond Santa Fe high school in 2019, and immediately went into this field after graduation.

Ever since I was a little girl, helping animals was always a passion of mine. I remember playing doctor with my childhood dog, Mongo and pretending that I was a veterinarian. I’m very grateful that he was extremely patient with me! Ever since then, I have dedicated my life to being in this field.

I have been an assistant for the past 5 years. I am a dog mom to a crazy little dachshund named Henry! During my free time, I love hanging out with my friends, reading, crocheting and being involved with my local church!

Over the years, I have learned how to be an advocate for my patients. I can be a voice for the voiceless. At the end of the day, my favorite thing is seeing the thank you in my patients face. Whether that is a thousand face kisses or them jumping on me for a hug! Rest assured, your babies are well taken care of with me!
